"State College Borough is committed to maintaining its vibrant neighborhoods for families and individuals of all ages and personal circumstances. The State College Community Land Trust is an important resource which provides access to homeownership for moderate and low income families. Providing affordable housing can be a challenge in a university community with the stresses thousands of students can put on the availability and cost of homes and apartments. The SCCLT working with the Borough has been able to provide both financing and counselling support. Presently we have families in over thirty homes throughout the community. We look forward to purchasing, rehabilitating and selling many more."
