We've been so busy over here with year-end things, that we neglected to welcome a new homeowner, and now we have 2 (!) new families to welcome to the neighborhood! Help us welcome our newest neighbors!
Our condolences to the family of Lu Hoover, who passed away December 3, 2016. As senior planner with State College Borough, she played a key role in the development of housing programs and social service agencies, serving many residents over 20 years.
SCCLT expresses our deep gratitude to Lou for her leadership. We will miss her enormously, but her legacy lives on through SCCLT homes and neighborhoods.
SCCLT will host an open house at our newest SCCLT home this weekend. Colleen will be on hand to show folks around the house and to answer questions about renovations and about SCCLT. All are welcome!
SCCLT will have decorated tree, featuring ornaments carefully crafted by our own homeowners. The Festival of Trees takes place, and is open to the public this Friday, Saturday and Sunday , December 9, 10 & 11. A community holiday event featuring over 80 decorated trees, craft marketplace, children's activities, live entertainment, Santa, tree auction, scavenger hunt, food and beverages, and much more! We hope to see you there! Proceedes benefit the Centre County United Way.
