We got a contribution in the mail today from Reliance Bank. Not only does Reliance support affordable housing in the area with monetary contributions, but they also do some of the lending for land trust home owners. Not every lender is willing to do the little bit of extra paper work that comes with a land trust home, but Reliance does it with gusto! Thank you to Dennis Doll at headquarters in Altoona, and our local mortgage champion, Kelly Felix for all that they do!
We were at #PopUpAve on Saturday talking to folks about home, homeownership and putting down roots. We planted flower seeds and asked people where they would live if they could live anywhere. Where would you go? Some folks' answers below:
We had a great time at the Foxdale Village Downsizing Expo at the Ramada. We met lots of great folks and service providers dedicated to helping people move into their next phase of life.
Its that time again! Time to recognize the hardworking volunteers who keep our organization and others around the county running smoothly. Thank you! Read all about our honoree, Susan Venegoni, and all the other super stars being recognized here: www.centredaily.com/living/article207457684.html
