Still no dinner for this year's Rose Cologne Volunteer of the Year recognition, but these peeps from the Centre County Council for Human Services still pulled out all the (safely distant) stops for our volunteer, Polly Dunn. They came out despite the cold to our Orlando Ave. house for this delightfully spring-y photo op. We think that stone chimney makes a background! As a member of our Real Estate and Rehab Committee (among other things) Polly has been essential in the acquisition and rehab of this . We are so grateful! Thank you, Polly!

Polly Dunn is the State College Community Land Trust’s Rose Cologne Volunteer of the Year Polly Dunn has been a supporter of the State College Community Land Trust for over 12 years, and a volunteer for the past 8 years on the Board and various committees. Polly assists SCCLT in creating more permanently affordable homes through her service on the Real Estate and Rehabilitation Committee, and as Chair of the Outreach and Development Committee. In addition to her leadership in these roles, Polly is always present for essential hands-on work, such as spring cleaning a new home, photographing SCCLT events and homeowners, and welcoming open house attendees. Most recently, Polly’s life-long dedication to justice, equity and equality has helped to guide the SCCLT through the difficult events of the past year. It is evident that Polly brings her best and most sincere effort to any activity. She is always prepared, does what she says she will do, is deeply kind, and a thoughtful listener. Polly’s quiet, consistent support always yields immeasurable results for which the SCCLT is most grateful. Thank you to the Centre County Council for Human Services and Centre Daily Times for helping us to make this tribute.
