Tour A Land Trust Home!

5/20/2019

Come see how a land trust works, hear about our new Energy+ initiative, and check out our rehab plans for this property. People will be on hand to answer all of your questions about the land trust, whether you are curious about applying, volunteering, rehabbing your own home, or just want to learn more about us. This event will feature a self guided tour of energy performance and design upgrades being considered in this home. Learn about what we will change and what we will keep as we prepare to remodel this home and prepare it for land trust homeownership.
Free admission, access to the home via stairs.
Limited street parking on Sunrise Terrace and Walnut Street. Walking and biking are encouraged.

SCCLT Volunteers At It Again!

5/19/2019

SCCLT volunteers were at it again this weekend, this time, preparing 129 Sunrise Terrace for our House Tour on June 8. It was hot and sticky on Saturday, but these folks had the house ship-shape before lunch! PS, check out the finished repaired front steps. Volunteer Jamaal Floyd, of Floyd Boys Contracting fixes those up for us a couple of weeks ago, and we think they look great, and are much safer than the crumbling steps that were there before.
