Did you miss our Arc of Justice screening and panel discussion?
A recording of that conversation is now up on our YouTube page. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/vE466pXWgVQ These heroes sold us our 50th home yesterday!
They wanted to ensure that their family home would remain a forever home for generations to come, so they sold us the house they grew up in. If you are able to give this holiday season, know that your contribution will go towards renovating this home and others like it to welcome new owners. Land in trust. Homes in reach. Always. Learn about the roots of the community land trust movement by joining us for a virtual screening of #ArcofJustice THIS Thursday at 7pm. This event is free but you must sign up at

Our real estate & rehab committee visited today to brainstorm for the upcoming #renovation of this duplex. Energy+ project partners Housing Transitions, Envinity and State College Community Land Trust checked out some potential projects today in #statecollegepa. Lots of neat, mid-century single- and multi-family dwellings located in the most walkable neighborhoods in the Borough of State College need significant mechanical and systems upgrades. Each structure presents different challenges and opportunities that the Energy+ team seeks to navigate to create long-lasting affordable housing solutions. Follow our progress as we engage in this important work!
Today we learned that we are, once again, amongst the cohort of PA housing practitioners to have projects funded by the Pennsylvania Housing Affordability Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) fund, administered by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) for 2020. We will use our funds to include energy efficient upgrades in our next round of acquisition and rehab projects. In a time when home matters more than ever, we feel honored to be able to continue creating permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for our community. Other local organizations to receive 2020 PHARE funding are Housing Transitions, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County, the Philipsburg Revitalization Corporation (We Love Philipsburg) and Centre County Government Congrats to all!

Grounded Solutions Network CEO Tony Pickett and Board of Directors Chair Robert Burns of Citi share how quality housing with Lasting Affordability addresses the social determinants of health within the communities of color most affected by structural health and housing disparities – with Shelter-in-Place policies taking on life-saving significance – and presenting shared equity housing as a scalable, sustainable solution.
