This year marks a major milestone for the State College Community Land Trust (SCCLT) — 30 years of making homeownership possible for people who live and work in our community. Since 1996, SCCLT has created 57 permanently affordable homes and supported 85 first-time homebuyers, allowing teachers, healthcare workers, service employees, young families, and retirees, for examples, to stay rooted in the State College area.
To celebrate, we’re inviting the entire community to join us for a series of events that showcase our impact and the people who make our work possible. Highlights include:
30th Anniversary Art Exhibit – Local artists, including young aspiring talents, are sharing artwork inspired by home and community. Join us at 3 Dots Downtown to feast your eyes on textiles, paintings, photography, and more.
Raffle Fundraiser – Support SCCLT’s mission and win exciting prizes! Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $12 and can be purchased online at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/statecollegecommunitylandtrust or at the event. Winners will be drawn on April 3, with notifications going out the following week.
Community Celebration – Meet homeowners, neighbors, and supporters while enjoying food, community poetry, young artists corner, a slideshow, speakers, and the joy of 30 years of community impact. Mark your calendars: April 3, 6–8 pm.
This anniversary isn’t just about looking back — it’s about strengthening the future of our community. Every ticket purchased, every art piece admired, and every conversation had at the events helps SCCLT continue to provide affordable, secure housing for generations to come.
We hope you’ll celebrate with us, explore the exhibit, participate in the raffle, and join a movement that’s been transforming lives for three decades.
